Judging Criteria

  • Originality
What problem within the three tracks are you trying to solve? We are looking for projects that bring awareness to issues that not many people are currently trying to solve.
  • Conventionality
Does the idea borrow off of existing ideas or is entirely new? What does your hack have that other solutions do not have? We are looking for your projects that showcase your creativity in solving a problem.
  • Brevity
Is the frontend and backend code free of errors and concise? Can you simplify your code further? More is not necessarily better. We want code that is simple and easy to incorporate and understand.
  • Practicality
Does the idea have the potential to scale? How much more work to scale up? We are looking for completeness in the Minimal Viable Product (MVP) or Prototype of your work.
